Albert G. Storace was born on 6th April 1944 in St. Julian's, in the house where he still lives, and was educated at the Lyceum, St. Michael's Training College and the Royal University of Malta.

A teacher and lecturer until 1996, his main pursuits are history, music, travel and languages, but not necessarily in that order, and often combining all four.

Albert is keen on gardening and enjoys cooking. He was a concert and opera reviewer from 1980 to 2020 for the Times/Sunday Times of Malta. Albert is very widely travelled and has written dozens of travelogues. He has presented a weekly classical music programme on Radio Malta since 1992.
